It is the goal of Solutions for People Created with Animals to provide a range of services which are worthwhile to the people and pets in our community, which assist the physically, psychologically and socially disadvantaged to lead a more productive and equal way of life through the use of animal produced therapy, along with services that include programs developed to provide assistance to people and their pets to preserve the family unit rather than see a loved pet surrendered to an animal shelter.

Thanks to Jenny's hard work, the Governor of Arkansas, (Governor Beebe) will be declaring Aug 8th - 14th National Assistance Dog Week. He will sign a proclamation on Monday, Aug 9th at 10:30am at the State Capitol Building. All of our staff will be attending and you can too! We are trying to put together a car pool to go to this great event. If you would like to go too, please contact the office and talk to Jenny soon! 870-453-7249. SPECIAL NOTICES & CANCELLATIONS: Friday, August 6th - The Office will be closed while the staff attends an ARVOAD meeting. The compound will still be open for viewing and adoptions. Monday, August 9th - The entire SPCA staff will be in Little Rock for the signing of the National Assistance Dog Week Declaration by Governor Beebe.
Volunteering to help keep dogs and cats in our care happy and healthy can make all the difference in helping them to find a new home. You can help with socialization skills, basic obedience skills, brushing and petting, and much more!
Anyone with an interest in helping a dog or cat in need is qualified and welcome. Call the office today and become an SPCA volunteer!
