He will sign a proclamation on Monday, Aug 9th at 10:30am at the State Capitol Building. All of our staff will be attending and you can too! June 2010, with the Board Meeting this month came several changes the organizational structure of the SPCA. This are outlined throughout the website as they have made some difference to pretty much all programs and services provided by the SPCA. In order to relay all of the changes which have occurred, it was necessary to just begin at the front page and work our way thru each and every other following page. Pet Fairs are held almost every Friday and Saturday at locations all around the 3 county area. Our Public Pet Fairs allow anyone to bring a pet or stray they may be needing to find a new home for, and showcase it along with ours at any pet fair location. Through this program, you can list your pet both on our website as well as on the Petfinder.com website. As you may know, to list on Petfinder, you must have a 501(c)(3) status. With this program, we list for you so basically you are using ours. Some restrictions apply and there is a small fee for listing. The SPCA currently has several dogs and cats which may be used as Therapy Animals at this time. We will be placing a description of each animal that is currently available for you to use on the site so you may pick and choose if you wish.
