We called him Tramp. One of those "so ugly he's cute" critters. Tramp was glad to meet and greet anyone that came along, always ready to play, and loads of love to give to a new forever family. He died on January 27th when a large tree limb broke under the weight of the ice and crushed his kennel and the house he was laying in.

Tramp had only been to one Pet Fair not having been with us very long. He garnered a lot of attention but sadly no one took him home. He was also our featured Pet of the Week in the Mountaineer Echo the day he died.

All of the staff of the SPCA fell for Tramp, each of us wishing we had room for him in our homes. He will remain in our hearts and our minds as we continue our mission to find new forever homes for every unwanted or abused pet in need. We will name the new playground to be built at our new shelter "Tramp's Playground" and a special memorial will be placed there to remind everyone of our beloved Tramp.
